Street Life 'Street Skate' ala Naken Wijaya

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - In 2007, Naken Wijaya watched a dairy product advertisement on television and that was the beginning of his liking skating. Not having a skating base did not make Naken cancel his intention to explore his new hobby.

Naken practiced on the streets, on the sidewalks, until inside the house so he could smoothly do skating tricks. It takes Naken one to three years to finally be able to really smoothly in doing that sport along with the tricks.

Asked why choosing the street to play, rather than in a skate park, Naken said playing on the streets gave another sensation. According to him if you want to hone the trick then the skater will definitely play in skate park.

But when he has successfully practiced tricks, he will definitely return to playing on the streets and sidewalks. For Naken, skating is not just a hobby but has influenced his life.
