Kaspersky Reveals Tips Against SIM Swap

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - Kaspersky recommends that users separate the SIM card phone number for communication and telephone numbers connected with social media and banking accounts.

Kaspersky General Manager of SEA Yeo Siang Tiong said the separation was done to fend off the crime swap SIM mode.

"For private users, it's a good idea to consider using a SIM card separately, both for your important accounts, such as financial accounts or social media," Tiong told CNNIndonesia.com, Monday (9/16).
