South Sumatra Governor Asks for Autopsy Evidence of Infants Died by ISPA

Palembang, CNN Indonesia - South Sumatra Governor Herman Deru is reluctant to speculate about the cause of death of Elsa Pitaloka, a 4-month-old baby who is thought to have died due to suffering from an acute respiratory infection (ARI). Only an autopsy, said Herman, could confirm the cause of death of the residents of Talang Buluh Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency.
It is known, Elsa Pitaloka died at the Ar-Rasyid Islamic Hospital in Palembang on Sunday (9/16) at around 18:35 after experiencing shortness of breath and respiratory failure.
"We ask the press colleagues not to directly identify the ISPA because the right person is the doctor in charge and the clearest result is the autopsy," Herman Deru said, Monday (9/16).
Herman asked the community to separate which diseases became the plague and caused many people to suffer from diseases that only attacked individuals.
